Charlie came to Resource Pro’s Business Development Team focused on insurance company relationships in 2016.  Previously McShane worked on the analytics and product development team.  ReSource Pro LLC is a business focused on insurance operations solutions.

Since 2020 Charlie has worked independently on a consulting basis for different firms largely focused on venture capital investments in the business outsource processing model.

McShane has a lengthy insurance company career working at increasing levels of leadership for several major insurance companies including; Aetna, USF&G, St. Paul, Zurich North America and the most recent 9 years prior to ReSource Pro; with State Auto Insurance where he led their commercial underwriting organization.

Charlie and his wife Sherry have lived in many marketplaces including; NY, MA, NJ, OH, MD, IA and NC.  He has extensive experience in claims, underwriting, operations, government affairs, agency management, sales and marketing.

In 2014 he completed an Executive Management program at UVA Darden School.  Charlie is a graduate of Florida Institute of Technology with a BS in Management Science.  He was a 4-year varsity basketball scholarship player and President of Florida Tech National Alumni Association in 1995/1996.

Living in Southeast NC I am an elected member of St. Brendan Pastoral Council and Town of Shallotte Transportation Committee.  For 6 years I chaired my community Long Range Planning Committee.
